My Story
Dan Fast (he/him) helps organizations and leaders boost their impact and capacity by becoming more effective and efficient, and creating people-first cultures. He digs deep to understand how people and organizations operate and the root causes of their challenges. He leads with care, curiosity, and balanced perspective.
Dan brings two decades of strategy and management experience, spanning Fortune 500, non-profit, and small-business sectors. Over his career, he has been pivotal in leading key projects and stakeholder relationships, driving organizational change, and improving operational outcomes. Select highlights include:

Previously, Dan served as Senior Consultant for CGI, a global business and IT consulting firm, where he guided Fortune 500 clients through digital transformation, organizational change, and more. Prior to CGI, Dan helped drive strategy and program / portfolio management for several New York non-profits, including UJA-Federation of NY.
Dan holds a Master’s in Industrial-Labor Relations and Management from Cornell University-ILR School, and Bachelor’s in English and Religious Studies from Lafayette College. He is a Prosci certified Change Management Practitioner. Dan serves on the boards of the Joseph & Yetta Weisberger Fund, which supports social service organizations in New Jersey, and CharacTours, an experiential education non-profit.
Dan lives in a lake community in Northern New Jersey with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he loves to play music, hike and swim, chat about books and films, and volunteer in his community.
Why Ives?
The practice is named after Ives Hall at Cornell University, where Dan completed his Master's degree in Industrial-Labor Relations and Management. Ives Hall is known for its distinct structure and sense of openness, which is a good metaphor for Dan's approach to work.
